How to get rid of the Xbox app when using the Xbox Beta app

I am using the Xbox Beta app. How can I disable the normal app so I can just use the Beta version?

Hi Farcher2001, What version of the app are you using? Are you also experiencing this issue when using the Xbox App beta? you can DL the app by going to the store on your PC and searching for "Xbox App beta".

Disconnections when streaming xbox to PC "Network Quality Problems"

Hi Piew4rm3r, What version of the app are you currently using? Have experienced the same disconnect issues using Xbox App Beta version? Do you also experience network quality problems when not streaming?

You can DL the Xbox App beta version by going to the store on your PC and searching "Xbox App Beta".

Under the menu then settings you should be able to click log out from the Current Xbox App.

You can also confirm that the beta app is running:

• Ctrl+Alt+Del and open Task Manger.
• Under the Process tab look for Xbox (beta) possess. If you see both Xbox (beta) and the Xbox possess. Then this means it has not closed down.
  

Also under the Setting in the app if you scroll to the bottom. You should see About and underneath Version. The
Beta App version will show as 15.15.23021.00000 The Regular App version will show as 15.15.1603.22005.

Do believe that you can uninstall the Regular version, as it's built into the
Windows 10 OS.

You can't uninstall the regular version at this time. There is no harm in running both, just take note the versions of the app and try to use the latest version. Often times the Xbox App (Beta) will be running the most up-to-date version.
