    I recently was Ddos attacked by a modder after i complaint to him about aimboting in a game (towards my team on Black Ops 2) he disconnected my internet 3 times in 20 mins. I had to get a new router and modem. That cost me $60.

    Days later he said he will console ban me and then Ddos me again. Thank god i called xbox support and the customer service rep was able to stop my console from being banned (i think he did reverse it).

    These modders are getting too much control over normal users on XBOX live. I know Black Ops 2 is an older game. But a lot of my freinds still play it, as well as black ops1 and 3. Even Modern warfare 2 and 3 have modders in the game too. I saw one last
    week trying to sell mods by changing his/her name to his Instagram user name. How crazy is that?

    My suggestion is to XBOX LIVE security team is:

    To create an XBOX console UPDATE once a month (every month, and every year) to scan for the original firmware and operational system for the XBOX ONE and XBOX 360.

    This will ensure that the normal consoles are accepted by the update and the custom modified consoles are BANNED.

    For everyone not familiar with console UPDATES and how long it will take Mostly the UPDATE causally takes 2-15 mins.

    This is a SMALL price to pay to make sure WE are playing a game without cheaters. I hope everyone reading this HELPS XBOX make a decision to make this action a reality on the (CONSOLE UPDATES).

    I want the XBOX LIVE security department to review these COMMENTS and make this plan actionable - make this happen for us and get rid of these cheaters and modders for good.

    As DDoS attacks are done through your internet and not Live, the enforcement team can't do anything about that. It would be something you would need to work with your ISP on to keep from happening in the future. Otherwise, if you see someone doing something
    on Live that does violate the rules, report them so the enforcement team can investigate them.

    In older games like BO2, it's ultimately up to the developers to patch their games to keep things like that from happening in the first place. Unfortunately, once they release new games, they tend to neglect the old ones.

    The Xbox Live Enforcement Team which is in charge of Enforcing the rules and banning/suspending modders/cheaters is on the move. They have been for quiet some time. The Xbox Live Enforcement Team has it's own "Undercover Enforcers" making sure that the Xbox
    Live Customers are following the Terms Of Use and Code Of Conduct. I am sorry for you running into Modders/Cheaters but it will take some time to get rid of them.
