How to get my xbox app working?

I downloaded the Xbox app on my phone and download it there to start download on Xbox and it worked, now figuring out how I get my vault add ons.

Well, get this....I got to it but completely roundabout way. I found my game buried in the Achievements window in the old Xbox Console app.

1. Click on Achievements.

2. Click the game in the list of Achievements.

3. Then click Info.

4. Then can select Play from Console if Xbox is turned on.

How ridiculous. The Beta app doesn't work and is inferior to the Console app anyway so I'm just going to use the Console app until they retire it. Hopefully, they figure out how to make the Beta app work.

Just checking on status. Yes I'm connecting to the PC via the provided cable with my Elite Controller. My PC is upstairs and my Xbox is down stairs. When I turn on my controller on the PC it still turns on my xbox down stairs.

The main issue is the Xbox Accessory App won't work and I cannot configure my paddles.

I use USB to do this. It won't work anyway with Bluetooth.

How can I get the app working? I've ran through many suggestion that were on other forums.

I've rebooted

Uninstalled Reinstalled the app.

Yet it still does not work.

I can't work out how to get the app. The menu button is the three little lines but I don't get the option to type in Xbox to get the app. I have tried in the search bar but I don't get it there either
