How to get my blu rey player to work?

When I pull up the Blu-ray player, it loads for a while before it says error. I've tried closing the app before opening it again, turning off my Xbox, and turning it back on. I don't know what else I can do. Can I fix this?

The error message reads as follows:
"Something went wrong

Give it another try. If this happens again, visit xbox.com/errorhelp and enter the following code: 0x80070bfe"

try a factory reset. You can keep your games and settings. You just have to download your profile again.

Thanks for the info Icestorm. Yea my brother got me the expendables on blu rey and I can watch it but ps3 is in living room I gave that up for it to be a netflix for my brothers kids. That way I can play on xbox lol. Im not sure why they didnt do a blu rey/dvd
combo on expendables 2 but o well. I wont use the ultra violet thingy it seems like a headache to use.

I've given up watching blu-rays on the xbox one at this point. Multiple iterations of the blu-ray player and it still has stuttering issues. It started with the lip sync crap and now stuttering. It's absolutely inexcusable in my opinion. I've never had
1 problem with the blu-ray on my LAUNCH PS3 and I just watched 2 movies over the weekend on my PS4 and had zero issues at all. I honestly don't know how they are not able to get a working app for the blu-ray player. I'm really not surprised considering the
rest of the UI is a complete non intuitive sluggish disaster. This is not a new technology, it would be nice to actually get some people working on this stuff that actually has a *** clue.

This makes a **** load of sense. I saw my dads xbox use "dark crystal" (the dvd i used to text this) and it worked. But when i put it in my xbox it didnt work. But when i used the blue rey it worked. So if this works ill text ye and HUGE thank you

Yeah, if a standard DVD didn't work, then that laser is broken. The laser for blu-rays discs is still working since you can play those types of discs and Xbox One games.
