How to get MSFT2020 back online

This is the second time this month. Start game message comes up you are not online (which I am all of the time) and can't get to marketplace which is grayed out. Sim is in minimum specks. The first time I gave up and uninstalled the sim and started over it lasted less than 3 weeks. I have signed out of the sim, Xbox and MSFT account at the same time. Let Xbox start sim from Xbox not the app. Nothing works. I have signed out every way I can think of. What I don't understand is why they don't have a simple way to reconnect the sim also, why don't they have a way to reset the sim without losing everything which means not only do I have a half of a day reinstalling the sim I have another half of a day reinstalling everything else that is not in the sim download. The last time with my internet provider providing 56 megs download speed the Xbox system was for over 3 hours sending .15 megs when I went to bed not sure any system should be that slow these days. But considering it was the day the 40th anniversary update came out that might have had something to do with it. Come to think of it, it was right after the update it through me offline. Any suggestions other than I posted this in the wrong place would be appreciated! IN over 30 years of using computers this is the first time this has happened without a server going down or something like it!
