    I purchased Minecraft : Windows 10 edition.

    I want now playing with my friends with the same game experience.

    So I need Minecraft PC edition (Java).

    I know that Minecraft Pc Edition owners can get the Windows 10 Edition for free.

    I created an account on Minecraft.net with my account *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** but cannot play PC Edition (only the trial is available).

    Java edition owners can get the Win 10 edition free, but it does not work in reverse. That is to say you do not get a free version of Java when buying windows 10 minecraft. If this makes it so the Win 10 edition is useless to you,

    also, it says my PC is linked, but when I look at the registered devices, it says there are 0 registered devices. Maybe this is the problem. It is an older dell, but meets all the reqs.
    Just to make sure, did you purchase "Minecraft", "Minecraft for Windows 10" or Minecraft Java Edition? Typically when it's looking for a device, it's looking for a console. "Minecraft" is for the console. "Minecraft for Windows 10" or Java Edition are for the PC.

    I own minecraft "windows 10 edition" on xbox one but isn't availabile on windows 10....
    There is no "Windows 10 Edition" on the Xbox One.

    On the Xbox One, there was a "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" but that has been replaced with just "Minecraft".

    As the others already said, "Minecraft" is not a Play Anywhere title, so owning "Minecraft" on the Xbox One, doesn't give you "Minecraft Windows 10 Edition" on the PC.

    However, if you own Minecraft Java Edition on PC, you can log into your Mojang Account on PC, and can get a code for the Windows 10 Version.

    and under the “My Games” heading you will find a button to claim your gift code. If you purchased Minecraft: Java Edition after October 19th, 2018, the button will not be there, so if you’re unsure of when you purchased Minecraft: Java Edition, that’s a good
    way to check. Pressing the button will generate a token and send you to a Microsoft redemption page.

    And the one it shows in your purchases is "Minecraft for Windows 10" not just "Minecraft" right? "Minecraft" is the console version. If you haven't purchased "Minecraft for Windows 10" you would need to purchase that in order to play it on the PC. When you get the message that it's looking for a device, it's usually looking for a console.

    Do you own the PC version of Minecraft? If not you only have the beta and wont be able to upgrade unless you purchase the regular Minecraft for windows 10. If you do own the PC version of Minecraft you should be able to upgrade to the Minecraft windows 10
    edition for free. Check this website on the PC and see if it says to install or purchase.
