How to get Minecraft on Windows 10 app to recognise purchase

I purchased Minecraft for Windows 10 about 2 years ago and have been using it successfully since then. I recently went to open it after not using it for about 3-4 months and it has opened as a trial version, and I get an option to "unlock full game". This
is odd as I already own it and have been successfully using it.

I then click on unlock full game and it tells me that I already own it.

Two days ago I opened the game and it was recognising that it was purchased - very happy. Then opened it again yesterday and it is back to telling me to unlock the full game - Same computer, no updates, only one account.

I have been trying to work out a fix for this in total for the last 6 weeks but am at a dead end now. I have tried the following

1. Re-install the app

2. Clear the Store cache.

3. Open the Xbox app first and make sure I am logged in and then launch it from there (suggestion from forums)

4. Contacted Xbox support (do not attempt this unless you have the patience of Gandhi)

I only have one account, so other suggestions about multiple accounts is not relevant here.

Xbox support have been worse than useless here. I have logged two calls. The first one, the guy said there was problem with the back end billing system and it would be resolved within 10 days and he would contact me back. And to my complete and utter amazement,
it was not resolved and he did not contact me back. But the call was closed and all attempts at emailing them back has received no reply.

I raised another ticket, and spent time on chat with them and on the phone and even sent them screenshots of my account with the purchase proof on it. After two weeks they got back to me to tell me to double check which account I am using to access the game.
So although I only have one account and it is not possible to mix this up and I already provided this information on the ticket. The ticket was then closed.

Is there anyone out there who can provide some assistance as the Xbox support team has been about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

Connect to Xbox One Minecraft Game

I have a host Xbox One running minecraft on multiplayer, and I'm sending invites to my windows ten PC that has the Windows 10 Edition of minecraft installed, but the invites never show up on the pc in-game, or in the Xbox app. If I do the reverse and try
to send invites from the Windows 10 Edition to the Xbox Edition, the Xbox opens up the windows 10 store page for Minecraft and prompts to purchase. Suggestions?

 

CANT FIND MINECRAFT WINDOWS 10 AFTER INSTALL

I purchased the Minecraft windows 10 edition on a new PC and I am currently having trouble opening the app. The app has failed to install and I am now being requested to re-purchase from the app store. can anyone help?

 

How poor this service is. 6 weeks and counting with no resolution.

It has been confirmed by the Xbox team that I have purchased this game and own it and am using my correct account. In fact I have successfully opened and played the full version again - once. Then the next time I have tried to play, it tells me I do not
own it and I am back on the trial version. Just to be clear, I only have one account, so there is no possibility of any account mix up issues here.

However, the xbox team has been unable to fix this and as they are unsure what the issue is, they are trying to offload me to Mojang and close the call. However I have already spoken to Mojang and they have informed me that as I purchased it through the
Microsoft store that I must talk to the Microsoft store support as this is a billing issue. Microsoft store support for games is the Xbox support team.

6 weeks this has been open, no updates on any of the tickets that I have opened, just ignored or closed after a few days. Just spent hours on the phone to support on hold waiting for someone to actually try and resolve this.

My advice, do no under any circumstances purchase any games through the Microsoft store. The support team is totally unfamiliar with what they are meant to be supporting here and it will take them a while before they work out that it is indeed them who are
meant to be assisting, and then they will not have a clue as to what to do.

If you are playing games on a PC and purchase all of your games through Steam where someone will actually attempt to resolve any issues you may encounter.
