How to get email using username or unlinking Microsoft acc from ps4

Even if you can unlink the account, Sony will not allow you to link another Microsoft account afterwards:

Note: After linking a Microsoft account to a PlayStation® account, neither the Microsoft account nor the PlayStation™ Network account can be linked to other accounts. If you choose to unlink the account, the purchase transaction will be refunded to the account that made the purchase.

Even if unlinked, the Microsoft and PlayStation® accounts can only be relinked to the original account. Again, this is a limitation imposed by Sony. It is not a limitation imposed by Microsoft/Minecraft.

This is regarding Minecraft PS4 version and linking/unlinking a microsoft account.

I linked my sons Microsoft account to MY ps4 account. I didn’t realize this until it was too late. I have since created a new xbox gamer tag for me and using a new email account. It seemed to unlink because there was a flash
with my correct game tag in the bottom left corner but then it said ‘Opps! Looks like this account is already connected. Please sign in with your previously connected Microsoft Account...”.

After deleting all ps4 saved data files for Minecraft and application file and reinstalling application, it still gives me the message “Opps! Looks like this account is already connected. Please sign in with your previously connected
Microsoft Account...”

Hi, have you tried to change your ps4 email? i mean, go to the ps4 account and tried to change the email to another?

So i finally fixed mine. Phew~

i went to applications saved data on the ps4 and went to system storage - minecraft - i then deleted any corrupted files and saved data.

This reset my minecraft to default and went signed in again and followed the steps once more.

In order for cross platform to work, you need to have a

• fully set up microsoft account. (Verified email & username/profile).

• fully set up xbox account (verfied email and username.)

I reset the game and it worked. I hope this helps!

I downloaded Minecraft on PS4 and attempted to log in with a newly created Microsoft account using a phone number instead of an email. Microsoft changed my account username at some point in the process. I cannot sign into any Microsoft account on my PS4
and cannot unlink anything, because nothing is linked. I just want to basically go back to factory default and start over. Anyone know how?

I forgot I used my email from my brothers microsoft account, so when I went to link mine it connected to his account, I removed my email and created a new microsoft account for myself and when I tried to link it (I assumed since it was the same email it
would have to follow my new microsoft account) but to no avail, now I'm screwed lol

The Microsoft account that I use is linked to my nephew's Xbox. I accidentally connected the account to Minecraft Bedrock Edition. I tried to unlink the account from my PlayStation, but the game crashes before I can unlink the account.

Hello, I had the same situation(my brother signed in first and took my resource pack!) and I just tried muarrif ahmad way and it worked!
(by COG he means the picture with Alex's face next to a gear.)
