How to get dlc's to work on Xbox could gaming

I read that it is due to the difference in how the old Xbox 360 Marketplace works vs the new Xbox One/Windows 10 marketplace. What you could do (which is a complete pain) is if you know someone with
a 360 still, you could get on that game if it has an in-game marketplace for buying DLC, you should be able to use your balance there
to buy DLC. This is hypothetical thou. I would assume it is an easy fix but there may not be that much of a demand for it.

That's how it works. Only people WITH the DLC have access to the DLC. Would be pointless to sell DLC if one person could buy it, and then all their friends could play for free. I understand that this DLC just being a character is different than an actual
area DLC, but the premise is the same. It's "pay for" content and I am sure there is no easy way to allow people to bring it into someones game without it.

If the DLC is for the Xbox One version of the game, then no, you can't use that DLC on the Xbox 360 version of the game.

For example, Assassins Creed IV Black Flag is a Backwards Compatible Xbox 360 game that works on the Xbox One. However, if you buy Xbox One DLC, then this will NOT work on the Xbox 360 version of the game.

But if you get the Xbox 360 DLC content for a Backwards Compatible game, the DLC will work on the emulated Xbox 360 on Xbox One.

One way they could do it is for the developer/publisher to have competitions to see the highest rating mods for their games, then release it on the Marketplace as DLC. Of course with the Microsoft Rule(?) being that only one DLC
can be free they would come at a cost.

Which would not work, due to them already being free on the PC. It would go down how the BBC iPlayer shenanigans went. But yeah, it would be great if we could get community DLC or more editing tools for games.

A question I do have though is could developers not put a menu in their game as Community Mods and use Updates to put them in the game? Or would they have to go through Microsoft first. Which would not work again due to them probably wanting to charge for it.

I downloaded the DLC and got all 4 maps and the zombies map but it still tells me i need to download the ohm and the ohm werewolf variant. It tells me to download it so I click on it and then it tells me I already own it. Do you have any idea what i can
do to get it?
