How to get back my Minecraft game after changing email address on my Microsoft account?

When you spoke to Xbox support do you know if they checked to see if the old email was tied to the purchase for Java edition/bedrock edition Minecraft?

Did you switch your email post migration?

Confirm the answers to the questions above please which will help me further assist you.

Do you still have access to the original email? If so, when you change it back does the problem resolve itself after that? Don't switch your email until you confirm that the old one is tied to the purchase history.

My daughter plays Minecraft under her brother's email address.

My son plays Minecraft under my email address.

Both children want to use their own email address without losing their profiles.

I don't understand how adding an alias will work. I don't want to delete my Microsoft account. I want to change the email associated with Minecraft only.

I had this issue after changing the email address for my Microsoft account. I could get into everything else, for some reason, but not Minecraft.

Opening the Xbox Console Companion app is the only thing that fixed it.

You can add a new email address to your account by following the steps at:

After adding and confirming the new email address, on your Microsoft account page, just select "Make this the primary email address".

About transferring data to another account, nothing can be transferred between accounts. You cannot transfer your data to another account.

But if I understand this correctly, you just want to change your Microsoft email address which you use to sign in to Minecraft, right? If that's right, just changing your email address will have this effect and your data will still be there. Your Microsoft account will not change, just the email address of it.

But when i change my microsoft email address, i can only change it to another .gmail or other email OR make a new email address with .outlook at the end.

What i want is to change the microsoft email address to an email which contains .hotmail at the end.

Pls help i searched this at many places but didnt solve my problem.
