    Hi all,

    Have looked around quite a bit for an answer for this but I couldn't seem to get any for my specific scenario. There's a few about using a US XB1 in Australia, but none the other way around.

    I'm currently having issues with getting the Xbox One I bought in Australia working since I've moved to the US. I have a universal adapter which is working fine for other devices that use Australian plugs, but when I try to do so for the Xbox One it doesn't
    seem to get any power. There's also no light coming to the power supply brick itself and the Xbox One won't turn on.

    I believe this is due to the different voltage in Australia vs US, but I'm not sure of the best way around it or what specifically I'd need after looking around.

    If I were to buy a US power supply/brick for the Xbox One, would that work on my Australian console? I'm not sure if it's just the power supply itself that has the issue, or the console itself is also powered differently and will only work with the Australian
    power supply brick.

    If I needed to buy an adapter/transformer, which one would I need to get and is there any danger of blowing the console/power supply for with this? I would likely use Amazon for this if need be.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated! Have been searching around for a while but can't seem to find answers for the Aus to US scenario.

    Hello, I am in the same exact situation, my U.S power supply burnt out on me, but I think that If i get a transformer that that will be powerful enough to contain my xbox? Or should I just try and get an Australian power supply?

    Hi, yes you will need a US power supply, your current power supply requires a 230V power outlet and the US is 110V hence you get nothing from the power supply. I would steer well clear of voltage converters etc as there is a serious risk of not only damaging
    the power supply/Xbox but also of causing a fire etc.

    Ok so after hours on phone support and chat support, I finally got this issue resolved. So this question can be removed or whatever, if need be.

    I would talk to support. Eventually I was able to just get an Australian xbox. I wouldn't ever go through the hassle that I went through again. You could try and get a transformer, but make sure you know the volts/wattage needed and get another level or
    2 up from that. You want to make sure that the transformer can support the powet supply. If you contact support though maybe they can replace your power supply with an australian one.
