    How to get around "too many requests" and be able to log in


    My personal account was recently hit with numerous unsuccessful login attempts. After many attempts of my own to ACTUALLY log in, I was finally able to. I changed my password and even set up a 2FA last night.

    Today, I am once again unable to log in. Every time, I get "too many requests." Don't give me the "you need to wait 24-48 hours" spiel. That's asinine. The solution to someone halfway across the world UNSUCCESSFULLY attempting to get into my account is to LOCK MY OWN ACCESS TO MY OWN ACCOUNT TO ENSURE "SECURITY?!?!" ARE YOU KIDDING?? Yeah, good to know if I'm angry at someone I can just attempt to login to their account 5 times, effectively rendering it useless. If I attempt to login once a day from then on? Ope, looks like they're never getting back in. Who thought this was a good idea???

    Please tell me there is some other way around this than just waiting. I'm done waiting. I've never seen a good sign-in practice from any Microsoft-owned service, it all seems to simply exist to make the client's life miserable.

    Can you log in with your true account please. We have a tad too many no name and no history accounts running around for it to be normal

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues logging in to your Microsoft account. This may be due to a network issue at the time the login request is sent.

    Please try to "Sign out everywhere" your Microsoft account. Try to use a different device such as your smartphone and disconnect from your current Wi-Fi and use your mobile data during this process:

    Sign in to your Advanced security options on your Microsoft account security dashboard.

    Scroll down to Sign out everywhere and select Sign out.

    Once done, give it few minutes to update across all Microsoft servers before trying again.

    Note: Sign out may take up to 24 hours.

    Hi Lauren,

    Some questions:

    1. Where exactly are you trying to sign in - an Xbox console, or the Xbox website or app on another device (smartphone, tablet, PC)? Do you have 2FA/2SV enabled on your account?
    2. Are there any specific error codes with the error message?
    3. Are you able to successfully sign in to another Xbox account/profile on the same device?
    4. Have you tried a different network? If you're connected to a WiFi network, try 4G/5G mobile data (as a hotspot if you're not signing in on a smartphone).

    Can't Sign In, Code for Sign in : 0x87DD000F I Have Good Connection!!

    I get this error too. Happened after the Azure storage issue Nov 18 to 20. I have perfect connection too. Didn't want to restart modem, too many other devices using that and don't want to disconnect them. I was able to log in after going to Xbox Settings
    and deleting local saved content which also restarted Xbox and then was able to log on successfully. Just restarting Xbox didn't work.
