How to get any assistance on console bans

Cases of bans to consoles are permanent and there is no possibility to appeal and even less talk to anyone in the Enforcement department about it, the information available for your case is limited to what is indicated in the official link below:

If you check the link you will notice that device bans are not based on reports from other players. If you purchased that console from a seller and were banned for use on Xbox Live, you will need to contact that seller and return the console to get your money back

Important Xbox will not tolerate any abusive behavior. When submitting an appeal or responding to an agent's request for additional information, do not insult or threaten Microsoft employees or post profane, bigoted, or otherwise inflammatory content. Case review inquiries are subject to the guidelines outlined in the Xbox Community Guidelines. Disregarding these rules may result in closure of the case review. Especially offensive violations may result in additional disciplinary action from Xbox.

Typicaly console bans are permanent & not reversed.

In some circumstances you may get a 30 day console ban if several accounts on the same console keep receiving enforcement actions.

Well personally i've never been banned at all before this nor would I know where to start in stealing something virtual...

Having a modded console is not the only reason for a console ban. Things such as marketplace theft and repeated violations of the Terms of Use on the console can also do it.

Recently a lot of people got account banned for marketplace theft and I'd bet that these two events are linked. Ask the people who have access to your console if they've ever downloaded a profile from the web in order to enjoy some 'free' DLC.
