    How to get a second power supply for Xbox One?


    Hello All

    I will soon move from France to USA for expatriation. As the power supply is made for 240v only (EUR), I need to buy a new one for 110v (USA). I don't find anything on the microsoft store. How (and where) could I buy one?

    XBOX will not start.

    Hello,

    The white lights on the XBOX and the power supply come on for a few seconds, then go out.

    Subsequently, the power light stays on and amber.

    During

    the block reset test

    (Xbox One Power Supply Solution | Reset Xbox One Power Supply),

    I get to step # 3 where it is mentioned to change the power unit.

    The light flashes: white for about five seconds, orange for one second.

    Hi, with the Xbox powered on press and hold the power button on the Xbox for 10 seconds, the Xbox will power off, disconnect the power supply from the mains power outlet for 30 seconds, reconnect the power supply to the mains power outlet and power the Xbox

    You can replace an accessory via the
    devicesupport.microsoft.com     website, however they will send you one for the region you're currently in (Europe). I suggest giving Xbox Support a call but I assume they can't ship you a US power supply from Europe.

    The hours of service and the phone number for French Xbox Support is located below

    Power surge damaged xbox one

    Hello,

    The Xbox One power supply has built-in surge protection to protect your console from power surges. You must reset the power supply if you experience a power surge. Here’s how:

    1) Unplug the cables from the console, wall outlet, and power supply itself.

    2) Wait 10 seconds.

    Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step lets the power supply reset. Make sure you unplug the power supply unit from both the wall and your Xbox One console.

    3) Firmly plug the power cable back into the console, and then plug the power cable back into the electrical outlet and the power supply. Connect the power supply directly into a wall outlet. Do not use any surge protectors or extension cords, because they
    can affect the performance of your power supply.

    4) Turn on the console and check the light on the power supply.

    Thanks for your post. Use this guide: Xbox One Power Supply Solution to troubleshoot your Xbox One's power supply. If the power supply is
    making a noise it could be an internal fan that could have something lodged in it or ringing from one of the power supply's capacitors. If this issue persists or gets worse, the power supply may need replacement.
