How to get a refund in this website ? I have tried to get one for 3 weeks

Hello,

I have bought from microsoft online store a Xbox series 2 elite controller which has a stick drift.

I have ordered it the 12th March and received it the 16th March.

Stick drift has started to get too big to even use the controller after only 1 week.

I was extremely disapointed since I can't play in my regular tournaments with that.

Since then I have triedt to ask Microsoft a return to get refund but it's impossible to contact Microsoft I always get redirected by the virtual agent to another virtual agent endlessly.

It's has been really painful to me but a week ago I finally have been able to contact Microsoft to get ask for a refund and explain my frustration.

I seriously thought they would accept it instantly but I had to wait another few day to get as answer "sorry this has been too long since you've bought this digital product".

It is not a digital product at all it is physical and I'm in France where return conditions are up to 30 days after shipping. (also there are no physical microsoft store in my country)

So does someone know how I can get a refund before they finally make me make me wait another week and tell me that it has been more than 30 days ?

Got another mail answer from microsoft saying that my controller is a digital game...

Not sure if this will help or if the number still works, but I did find a phone number for Microsoft Support Global Customer service in France.

The only other solution would be to do is send it in under the warranty.

Keep in mind ALL accessories including the elite controllers have 90 day warranties on them.

Sorry to hear of your issue and we would like to help you try and resolve your problem. First off, have you tried to update your controller? This can sometimes solve controller issues.

If you need to verify the firmware version for your controller or manually restart a controller update:

Press the Xbox button
 to open the guide.
Under System, select Settings.
Under Devices & streaming, select
Accessories.
On the Xbox Wireless Controller screen, select “…” to check the firmware version for your controller.
If it says there’s no update available, your controller is current. If it says “Update,” follow the steps provided.

Controllers have a 90 day warranty so you should be able to get a replacement. You would need to go through this option. https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/controller/controller-warranty
