    How to get a power supply (230V) in Norway?


    Hi,

    My Xbox 360 is from USA (the power supply is 110V) and i moved to Oslo (where the power source is 230V). Where / how can i get a compatible power supply to use in Oslo? Any shop or delivery services available?

    Hi, no doubt your power supply is a 110v model, Italy uses 230v so you're power supply got fried I'm afraid. You will need to purchase a power supply of a suitable voltage for the region you're in and hope your console didn't also get damaged during the
    over voltage incident.

    Hello everyone!

    yes, you will need a US power supply.

    Netherlands has a 220/230V power network and the US has a 110V power network.

    So bringing your Dutch power supply won't work.

    How to get a power supply (230V) in Norway?

    The only way to officially get Xbox power supplies is straight from contacting Microsoft's support lines (phone or chat). I don't know for sure if they still send out replacement 360 power supplies since discontinuing manufacture of the consoles,
    but it never hurts to ask.

    Otherwise, you will need to look to purchasing genuine power supplies second-hand. Be sure to know which power supply to get, there are

    Hi, yes you will need a US power supply, your current power supply requires a 230V power outlet and the US is 110V hence you get nothing from the power supply. I would steer well clear of voltage converters etc as there is a serious risk of not only damaging
    the power supply/Xbox but also of causing a fire etc.

    The power supply will have details on it with what power specification (110v or 230v) is expected etc.
