How to get a gamertag from someone who hasn't played in over six years

I have been looking at this guy who has the gamertag that i want and he hasn't played in over six years, literally, his last achievement was 9-30-2010. I want to know how or who i can talk to, to get that gamertag.

GamerTag has been dormant (dead) for over 6 years

For 6 years now I have been checking the availability of "Lepec" every few months in hopes of changing my gamertag to this. I believe I originally owned the account over 6 years ago and the profile was dead after changing my gamertag from "Lepec" to something
else. How does a gamertag not be made available again after OVER SIX YEARS? There have been 2 times in which announcements were made from Microsoft about dead gamertags being made available again, however "Lepec" was not one of them on both occassions. How
is there not a better process for this or some way to request a dead gamertag be made available again? Seems like a huge oversight by Xbox/Microsoft. After several conversations with support staff, I was informed that I wouldn't want someone with my old gamertag
to be posing as me online and to forget about the issue and just be happy with my current gamertag. REALLY?! IT'S BEEN OVER SIX YEARS!

Inactive Gamertags

Is there any possible way you could get an inactive Gamertag? Say someone hasn't been on for over 5 years or what ever. Would there be any possible way to get their gmertag?

Unless he changes his tag or Microsoft has another round of gamertag releases, there is nothing you can do. The tag system is in use on other Microsoft services. So even if he isn't an active Xbox user, the tag could be in use elsewhere.

So, because I have absolutely zero use for being gold (I don't play online nor do I need access to any of the apps), I should have to give up my Gamertag? That's like saying someone who owns a Lamborghini. but hasn't street raced in the last year should
have to give up his car if someone who has raced wants it. Sorry, it's my Gamertag, I came up with it and I got it... Not you. Just because someone is gold & pays for a service that isn't charged for anywhere else, doesn't make him/her special.

What if you remember an old friend from say Rainbow Six Vegas and you message his gamertag and find that it's someone else that just took over the gamertag? People need to just find an ounce of creativity and originality within them and come up with their
own personal gamer tag. Why is it so hard? Even if you have to be Spartan62352, so be it. What if I like some guys email address and he hasn't used that email address in months? I want it anyway!!!! Does that make any sense?
