a game code my friend in Ireland sent me via xbox says it does not exist i need Microsoft to resend one that works does anyone know how i would go about getting it resent

I am afraid it's not gonna work in the US if your friend is from a different country. It will only work if you have a friend who will gift the game to you inside the US.

Other than that, to acquire the game license, you would have to purchase it directly from your account instead.

The game code should be visible on your friend's order history. Please note that you cannot use or redeem the code from Ireland if you're not currently living in that country. You should be on the same country for it to work.
