My name is so pleasurable and I play this console every day and I want pleasurable for a gamer tag so badly but the person that has it doesn’t even play the console anymore. HE HASNT PLAY IN 3 years!!Is there any way of me getting the gamer tag due to this
absenced profile?

How do I delete this account?

Hey everyone, I wanted to delete this account so I can use the name for my other account which actually has Xbox Live enabled and 4+ years of achievements, games, movies, etc.. How can I get rid of this account for the name short of spending an extra like
$20 giving this account a name change and then my other?

How can I contact Microsoft to get the name of an account that was deleted? Is it timed, or is there a system for it?

The only way to get the tag would be for the owner to change it to something else, or if he does not sign into the account for 5 years (starting in 2016) it will be released. Keep in mind that the tag system is in use on other Microsoft services. So even
if it's not in use on an Xbox, it may be in use somewhere else.

Games for Windows Live, Xbox games for Windows, Zune, and Xbox Live all use the same gamertag system but not the same chat system. Gamertags are also tied to services like Zune or Games for Windows LIVE. If a gamertag doesn't exist on Xbox, it might
be in use on one of those services. If you try sending the gamertag you want a friend request and it says it’s not a valid gamertag that just means it isn’t used on Xbox LIVE, but it could be used for Zune or Games for Windows Live.

Thank you for your response, but when i go through this process, due to me already having an epic account with the same email as my xbox, when i try to go through this process it says i already have an account with that email address so i cant sign in through my xbox. it identifies that my xbox account is different but wont let me use that email again as i already have an epic acount with it. and i also cant add my xbox account to that original epic account due to it being attatched to this unnamed account. so now im just wondering where to go from here.

What if immediately after clicking on the icon for the platform you use to play with your unnamed account (Xbox) I get: " There was an error processing the credentials from the external login system. Please contact support." Any ideas? I am able to sign into a Microsoft account separately without any problems.
