To access your Xbox profile and other Microsoft services, you need to know the email address and password you used to set up your Microsoft account.

Important Xbox Support can’t provide this info, even if you know your gamertag.

There are a few steps we can take to protect your account and prevent unauthorized access from other devices.

First, make sure you've changed your Microsoft account password and turned on two-step verification.

Second, review your recent activity and sign-in locations for your Microsoft account. This will show you where and when your account was accessed by someone else. I believe that I may need xbox support to either switch the xbox gamertag ownership to my current account, or something similar. I have zero access to the account, can I edit/view anything on the hacked account.
