    How to fix?


    I'm going back on my xbox after a year and a half and I deleted my old accounts since I forgot the password. I tried to make a new one but it keeps cycling on me to create a new password then verify and then just cycles through again. I use skip sign in and am redownloading fallout 4 since it crashes with mods so now that it's redownloading it says ready to start but stays on the please stand by title screen. How do I fix all this?

I would recommend performing a reset on your console while keeping the games and applications by following these steps:

    1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
    2. Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console information > Reset console.
    3. Select Reset and keep my games and apps. This will reset the operating system and remove all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.
