Hi everyone,

I've recently encountered an issue with my Xbox Series X controller not syncing to the console, and I thought I'd share the steps that helped me resolve the problem.

1. **Perform a Hard Reset:** Turn off your Xbox Series X and unplug the power cable for a few minutes. Plug it back in and restart the console to attempt syncing again.

2. **Update the Controller Firmware:** Connect your controller to the console using a USB cable and check for any updates. This can often resolve compatibility issues.

3. **Check for Interference:** Make sure there are no obstructions or devices emitting strong wireless signals near your console.

It's normal. My Xbox Series X and Series S came well packaged and I didn't need to hit the bind buttons to sync the controllers.

You may also reset your Xbox controller to its default settings using the Xbox Accessories App:

1. Select your controller in the app

2. Choose Configure

3. Select a profile

4. Select Edit

5. Select Restore to default

You can also reset your Xbox controller by holding down the Pair button until it vibrates and turns off. After resetting, the controller will disconnect from all devices, and you'll need to pair it again.

Sync the Controller:
To sync a wireless controller with your Xbox, follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button on the controller to turn it on.
Press and hold the small sync button on the front of the Xbox Series X console (located near the USB port).
While holding the sync button on the console, press and hold the sync button on the controller (located on the top near the Xbox button).
Release both sync buttons when the controller's Xbox button starts flashing. The controller should now be synced with the console.
