How to fix Xbox controller that keeps disconnecting?

My controller keeps randomly disconnecting when I play games. I’ve updated the controller, replaced the batteries, moved closer, and even brought a new controller. Yet both controllers still randomly disconnect from the Xbox. The only solution I haven’t tried is using a USB and the reason why is because I literally bought a new controller, I shouldn’t have to buy a whole USB for it when it should work the way it is intended to work. It seems all I get told to do is “buy another controller” and well I did and still have the same issue. Any other solutions?

Sorry to know about the issue. Since it's happening to your new controller as well, the issue must be with your console. Please make sure to check and eliminate any wireless interference near or between your console and controller.

Have you also tried to perform a factory reset on your console? There's an option to keep your games and apps. Check the guide here https://support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/...

Seems like you have indeed performed all the necessary steps.

Do you have 5G mobile data turned on when you're using your Xbox console? If yes, can you please turn it off in the meantime and test it out if the issue will still occur?
