How to fix wrong warranty date for XBOX India

I got my xbox delivered to me by amazon India on 7th August but when I checked on Microsoft.com and xbox device support its warranty ends on 22nd May 2019.

Kindly help me fix this

Bought console on 22nd Dec, warranty upto 6th July as shown in account.

Hello all,

I bought Xbox One 500 GB Quantum Break edition from Amazon India on 22nd Dec, 2016. Today I was checking my account info and there it showed that the warranty is upto
6th July, 2017. They are counting the date of manufacturing/import of the console in India. Any ideas how should I get the full warranty period from Microsoft? There's nothing wrong with the console though, I'm just being cautious.

Xbox 360s Disc Drive Problem

It is very disappointing to know that my Xbox 360s which I bought in Dubai, is not covered under warranty in India. Presently I live in India and having problems with my Disc Drive (Console is not reading any Discs), when I contacted Xbox Service Centre,
I was told that though my console is under warranty period, it is not covered under warranty in India. I really doubt that World leaders like Microsoft would put such kind of warranty hitches. I want my full rights as a Microsoft Xbox Customer and my Console
to be covered under warranty in India as I live in India and also I am a registered Xbox customer from India only.

You would need to contact xbox support by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us you would have to send them a copy of the proof of purchase with the purchase date on it and they would then change it.

Did you purchase an extended warranty for the console from the retailer? It may be showing the standard warranty for that particular device when you register it.

I split your thread from the older one that you posted on so that we can assist you on your own separate thread.

For warranty details or discrepancies you would need to
contact support again but skip the virtual agent so that you can request a callback and speak to a phone representative. It should have an option that says "No thanks" when it presents you the Virtual Agent and then you follow the steps on the portal and
eventually you can request a callback and provide your callback number and region.

Best way to get support for this is from the official customer support team as they will have all of the proper tools to assist you.

I hope you can get connected to an agent and get this issue resolved!
