The Xbox 360 Slim model should work out-of-the box with the following Wireless authentication methods: WEP, WPA, WPA2

Not that I think anyone should have to repair this. It's obviously a poor choice of materials that is causing the failure. Apparently the plastic piece that is failing in the XB1 controllers, was made of metal in the 360 controllers.

Hello qwok93 Have you tried to fix the connection failure problem to LIVE by clearing your system cache by accessing the console settings, then storage and finally your hard drive. If the problem continues to happen, try deleting your profile, then re-downloading
it to your Xbox 360 Console. I have had the same problem that you are experiencing and doing this has fixed it for me. I hope this helps!
