How to fix stuck Y button?

When i press Y sometimes it gets stuck, preventing me from pressing Y for a split second\

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to deal with this issue. I can totally understand how this could be pretty concerning. I suggest trying the steps here on Troubleshoot
issues with an Xbox Wireless Controller.

Another good thing you can do is perhaps clean around the button with a cottonswab moist with alcohol, it could be that something sticky got around the "y".

I think your screen stucks when you browsing to the Marketplace, but for sure, please press the ''Xbox Guide Button'' and then press ''Y''.

No? Remove your HDD.

1. Shutdown your Console.

2. Remove the HDD, it's on the left or above the Console, it depends how the Xbox is been placed.

3. Press the release button on your HDD.

4. Turn on your Console.

5. Try to repeat the procedure with the jamming screen.

6. Does the screen still stucks?
