How to fix online features

Hi Diana, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern. You can simply sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings and from there make sure that these settings are set to “allow” or “everyone”:

* You can join cross-network play

* You can see and upload community creations

* You can communicate outside of Xbox Live with voice & text

* Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites

* You can play with people outside of Xbox Live

* You can create and join clubs

* You can join multiplayer games

Make sure to hit “submit” when you have made any changes.

Could you please elaborate on this? There could be many reasons why you'd need to restart your console or even ways you'd need to get online.

I know earlier in the day there was an Xbox update that had negatively affected multiple users, myself being one of them. The update wouldn't process all the way and would 'boot' users online giving them the only option but to restart their consoles. In
my case, and a few cases from friends earlier, turning the console off and then on would help but the update menu would pop-up randomly and kick them back offline even though it said it couldn't finish updating. Is that your issue? Is it a similar issue?

If you log into account.microsoft.com and go to the subscription tab do you see it listed there?
