How to fix my Xbox wireless headset

I’ve tried looking at requesting a refund but I can’t seem to do that from the Microsoft order history page

I can access the page, it just doesn’t let me request a refund and it hasn’t been 90 days yet. Also I don’t know where to go in my account so I can put the serial number in for a replacement

I can barely imagine the amount of time and effort you must have invested in making this Xbox Wireless Headset work into your console as it is not charging nor turning on. This could be a possible hardware issue and based on your description, you have tried to connect your headset wired to the console as you were using all ports to get this to work. We understand that would like to get this fix or be refunded. The headset can be connected to another device however, if it is not turning on, this may require charging. In which you have mentioned that the headset is not charging nor turning on.

There is a troubleshooting you may try for functional issues on a headset:

Headset won’t power on: If the headset won’t turn on when you press the power button, connect the headset to your console using the USB-C cable, then try powering on again. If it still won’t start, verify that the headset is receiving power from the console (the power light should be flashing orange). If the headset isn’t receiving power, try plugging it into a different console or device. If none of these steps work, perform a hard reset of the headset.

Headset isn’t charging: If the headset is plugged into the console with the USB-C cable but isn’t receiving a charge, first check the cable connections to both the console and the headset. If that doesn’t work, try plugging the headset into a different power source (another port on a console or device).

You may try to follow the steps above. Should the issue still persist, you may try to request for replacement or service by going into your account. You’ll need to find your headset’s serial number to register your device and request a replacement. If you still have the device’s original packaging, the serial number can be found on a sticker on the bottom of the box. The serial number is also printed on a sticker located beneath the padding on the headset’s right earcup. To remove the padding and find the serial number:

1. Hold the right earcup by the volume dial and gently pull the earcup padding away from the headset.
   
2. The earcup padding will slip off, revealing the headset speaker underneath.
   
3. The headset serial number is printed on a sticker below the speaker.
   

We notice you mention that you cannot request through Microsoft order history page. May we ask if you have seen an issue in accessing the page? Please post a screenshot of error message/code and conceal all personal information like email address or full name.
