How to fix IE not starting / loading on Xbox One.

So all day today i had trouble trying to start IE, i tired all solution i could find but none work so if any one is having this problem where IE wont start up or load here is a solution ( Hopefully this works for others too)

STEP 1: Go to settings.

STEP 2: Click on privacy & online safety.

STEP 3: Find web filtering, then click on it and select allow list only.

STEP 4: Hold Xbox power button down on the console until it shuts off ( This is doing a hard rest )

STEP 5: Turn the Xbox back on.

STEP 6: Now open IE (it should load now) and close out of all the tabs and delete the history.

Make sure you go back to web filtering once done with all steps and turn it back off.

signin difficulties with profile when connected to network.

Besides waiting for your profile to load, has anything else been acting sluggish on your console, such as loading Apps or starting up a game that is installed on your HDD? It would also be helpful to know which 360 model you have (ie. Arcade, "S", Elite)
and how large your HDD is.

 

Problem with Preview Program

So I called Xbox Support about a problem with my dashboard on my Xbox one, icons and names aren't loading at all, So I have to guess what I'm starting up, and I was told that I got accepted into the preview program, I do NOT have the message from xbox yet,
I do NOT have access to the preview forums, This is completely unfair, I cant even see what I'm trying to start, and I don't even have the opportunity to fix it, anyone else having this problem or have an idea on how to fix it?

 

I'm having the same problem, but this didn't work and I tried the hard reset and some other things but nothing seems to work

 

I will try that when I get home. I currently have it loading black with the loading swirl. After about 10 - 15 seconds it drops back to the dashboard. Do you have the same issue?

It was working fine as of 4th October day but come to about 8pm GMT it broke just as many others had the same problem around the same time. I am suspecting a faulty XB1 update.

 

The method of web filter changing did not work.
