    how to fix game bar widgets


    Xbox social game bar widget doesn't work. Whenever i try and use it, the widget just says "Something went wrong with this widget" and gives me an option to restart it. Restarting the widget only lets me use it for a second then it goes back to the "Something went wrong with this widget".

    Xbox overlay transparency

    Hello again, good to know back to normal.

    But this is an option of the Game Bar, if it is the bar settings has the widget transparency option but works only if you fix the widget.

    Why cant my XBOX party hear me on PC unless Gamebar is open? my default devices settings are correct on both Xbox And Gamebar apps.

    There is a workaround: in Game Bar you can pin the party chat so that it stays active when the Game Bar overlay disappears. Click the pin icon on the party chat widget. Hopefully they fix it properly soon.

    I am having an issue where I join a party through Xbox game bar and my friends can hear me when I have the overlay up on my screen, but when I click out of the overlay my mic cuts off.
