    How to fix error 0x87DD0005 when launching Quantum Break on windows 10?


    Hello, I recently bought the Quantum Break game for PC (Windows 10). After launching it I get to the title screen, when it asks me to press a button to start. When I do that, a popup comes up saying "We couldn't sign you in to Xbox Live", with error code 0x87DD0005. If I choose to switch account and login again, I can login and get greeted, but then the error appears again. It's like the game cannot work with the account or cannot communicate with the account provider?

    I followed a number of suggestions, from resetting Microsoft Store to reset/reinstalling the Xbox App, rebooting, deleting windows credentials, but nothing worked. Note that I can correctly login in the Xbox app, the problem seems to be confined to Quantum Break.

    Any help is appreciated or I will have to look for how to get a refund for this, thank you
