how can I fix a connection interrupted on Xbox 360 call.of duty black ops 2 on mob of the dead it keeps glitching and then keep saying connection interrupted and then it froze and I was in a middle of a game playing and its froze to where I had to shut the
whole system off

Connecting Wirelessly Using Airport Express

I am using an airport express as my wifi for playing online. The xbox lets me connect and join an online game but within 30 seconds of starting to play, it says connection interrupted. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Call of Duty games are known as a playground for hackers and modders. It could be, that you have become the victim of a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack by a script kiddie.

A script kiddie can make your home's IP address visible in a modded game, or by routing the Xbox network through their PC, and then send huge amounts of garbage data to your home IP, "clogging up" your internet connection, causing you to lose connectivity.

Therefore I recommend to only play with friends that you know well, that won't mod or cheat.

If you are a victim of a DDoS attack, simply disconnect your modem and router for about 30 seconds from the internet.

In most cases, when you reconnect, your ISP will give you a different IP, and the garbage data from the DDoS attack continues to go to the old address.

If you are DDoSed often, contact your ISP, so they can log your connection, and find out who initiated the DDoS attack, and press legal charges against the person causing the illegal attack on their infrastructure.

Thank you for that response, go ahead and Delete the game from the console and then clear your system cache again. Once you have done that go ahead and attempt to download the game again.

I would advise Troubleshooting Xbox 360 network connection as well as any interruption throughout the download could cause corrupted files as
they are incomplete.

It is possible that the Hard Drive itself is damaged so possibly
replacing the HD could fix this issue.
