    How to fix Call of Duty: Cold War locking all playable content when using a disk.


    Hey all, I need some help here. This happens all the time after an update and it hasn't fix itself randomly like it sometimes does.

    I have the first issue xbox one console with 365 GB of storage.

    I can insert my CoD cold war disk: it loads up the loading screen just fine. It then loads up to the menu where modern warfare 1, 2 (preorder), and cold war show up. When I go over to the cold war column, all content is locked even though it says all content is installed and I have the literal disk in the xbox.

    I have Reinstalled the game twice since this morning, over 8 times since the beginning of the year (I honestly lost count). Factory reset the console three times since the beginning of the year (all for this issue). I also installed it on a seperate storage device and that only worked once. Nothing else is working and it is unplayable. When I pick on campaign, as an example, it is locked and guides me to purchase the digital copy even though my physical copy is in the system and it has loaded up from that disk being inserted... I ain't spending more money on a game I already bought.

    If someone can help fix this issue for good I will buy you a large pizza delivered to your door. Please.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    The pizza will not be necessary. I will do my best still in getting this sorted out and just fixing this will be enough for me.

    In your games and add-ons make sure that these packs are installed:

    Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Content Pack 1

    Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Content Pack 2

    Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Content Pack 3

    Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Content Pack 4

    "1. In My games & apps, highlight a game (but don't select it).

    2. Press the Menu button on your controller, and then select Manage game and add-ons.

    3. Select the game in the upper-right corner of the screen.

    4. Choose Manage installation on [drive name]. This displays a list of items, including the base game and any available add-ons or game features.

    5. Select the tick-box for each item that you want to install (or untick to uninstall).

    Select Save changes."

    Also, if they're not showing up from there, kindly search the packs through Microsoft Store manually to install.
