How to fix broken achievement that is not unlocking

I understand you need assistance with your game achievement. Kindly try to resync your Xbox profile to your console by following the steps below. Make sure that you know your account logins before doing these steps.

REMOVE PROFILE:

To remove a profile: From Profile & system, select Settings > Account > Remove accounts. Select a profile, then select Remove.

POWER CYCLE CONSOLE:

To restart your console: Press and hold the Xbox button on your controller, and then select Restart console > Restart. To power cycle your console if it's frozen: Press and hold the Xbox button on your controller for 10 seconds. Then press the Xbox button on the console or on your controller to turn your console back on.

RE-ADD PROFILE:

To add an Xbox profile to a console, press the Xbox button to open the guide and go to Profile & system. Select Add or switch, and then select Add new and follow the instructions.

Just a friendly reminder, if you completed the requirements to unlock the achievement on your console and you already tried the steps above, but it still doesn't show, it might not be synchronized with the Xbox network. Allow up to 72 hours for this synchronization to take place.

The games are not broken. There was a problem with achievements unlocking. The issue has been fixed, however it might take a few days for the achievements to popup.

Sometimes it does take time for achievements to unlock.

But for some reason, some achievements are broken without a fix.

I have 2 game this is happening on.

I currently haven't found a fix.

I don't play Fortnite, but rest assured, this is not just you.

Fortnite broke 45 achievements in a recent update. None are unlocking for anybody now and all are marked as Unobtainable. These will need to all be fixed, which I'd guess they are working on.

If you look on the main achievement page for Fortnite here, you will see the red warning box letting everyone know that 45 achievements are marked as "Discontinued" right now because they are broken and unobtainable.

So, no, it's not just you. 45 achievements in the game are now broken and not unlocking for anybody. All you can do is wait for an update from the Developer to fix this issue, sorry.
