    How to find parent account


    2 days ago, the time had come to migrate my Minecraft account. When I did so I used an account which was "underaged".

    Now you can only allow such an account to play multiplayer by having a parent account do the settings. And after over 3 hours of research to find my parent account it has become quite stressful as you can imagine. Considering that my test week has just ended and that I was just getting into Minecraft, my favourite game of all time, again.

    So now I just need to see what the email-address of my parent account is in order to give access for me to play my favourite game again How to find parent account :)

    Hi LucBoonen1, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    Previously, we can see the organizer's account email on https://account.microsoft.com/family. However, since it's already updated, if you're a member or a child account the organizer email address will no longer be visible which means that you just need to ask your parent to check all of their Microsoft accounts for them to manage it.

    You can also ask an adult sibling if they may have added you as a member under theirs.

    Hello, nice that you contact the community. You have to look under https://account.microsoft.com/family/ who has their account permission and can then deal with the one. If you don't know this person, contact Microsoft Support.

    Are you certain you can't purchase anything or are you only unable to purchase mature or unrated content? Can you find a game rated E to purchase?

    If you created a child account, it has to have a parent. If it's not a child account, it might still have certain restriction on it. If you go to
    live.xbox.com/.../Settings, there is an option towards the bottom about restricting the purchase of mature WP7 games. Is this option set properly?
