How to find out a parent account

I've never had a parent account and yet it keeps saying my "parent account" has it's settings set up so I can't do anything. It seems like there's nothing I can do from my account.

Hello, nice that you contact the community. You have to look under https://account.microsoft.com/family/ who has their account permission and can then deal with the one. If you don't know this person, contact Microsoft Support.

Hi LucBoonen1, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Previously, we can see the organizer's account email on https://account.microsoft.com/family. However, since it's already updated, if you're a member or a child account the organizer email address will no longer be visible which means that you just need to ask your parent to check all of their Microsoft accounts for them to manage it.

You can also ask an adult sibling if they may have added you as a member under theirs.

I am also having this same issue. To my knowledge there is no parent account associated with my Live account. I've never seen anything about it before the Fall Update. How do I find out what the parent account is?

Hey there Viraas! Just to confirm, if you log into your (the Parent) account on the console and navigate to the Family Settings options, your daughter's account doesn't show up there? If that's the case she's either not a child account any more or she's
attached to a different parent account. To find out the Parent Account, please check out
