    How to find and install additional content in State of Decay 2


    Hi all, we hope you’re enjoying your time with State of Decay 2! If you pre-ordered the game through the Microsoft Store then you will receive a

    Prepper's Pack     as a pre-order bonus. If you purchased the
    Doomsday Pack     as launch day content in your Add-On Pack Bundle. If you are having trouble seeing that content in your
    My Games & Apps section, then perform the steps below to make sure you have the upper-hand when getting started!

    To find the Prepper’s Pack (Available for all pre-orders through the Microsoft Store)

    1. Navigate to My Games & Apps

    2. Highlight State of Decay 2 in the Games list

    3. Press the Menu button and then select Manage Game

    4. Check the Ready to Install section for the Prepper’s Pack

    5. Select Install All and press the A button

    6. If you are not seeing these add-ons listed in this area, select See in Microsoft Store and press the
    A button

    7. Select See Offers and press the A button and then select the version of the game you have purchased; either State of Decay 2 or State of Decay 2: Ultimate Edition and then press the
    A button

    8. Navigate down to the In This Bundle section to find the Prepper’s Pack. Select the
    Prepper’s Pack and press the A button

    9. Select Install and press the A button

    To find the Doomsday Pack (Available for all Ultimate Edition purchases)

    1. Navigate to My Games & Apps

    2. Highlight State of Decay 2 in the Games list

    3. Press the Menu button and then select Manage Game

    4. Check the Ready to Install section for the Doomsday Pack

    5. Select Install All and press the A button

    6. If you are not seeing these add-ons listed in this area, select See in Microsoft Store and press the
    A button

    7. Select See Offers and press the A button and then select the version of the game you have purchased; State of Decay 2: Ultimate Edition and then press the
    A button

    8. Navigate down to the In This Bundle section to find the State of Decay 2 Add-On Pack Bundle; select that and press the
    A button

    9. Navigate down to the In This Bundle section to find the Doomsday Pack; select that and press the
    A button Select Install and press the A button

    Hi! According to the store page description you don't receive a code and instead the game is tied to your gamertag:

    'State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition and add-on content downloads require up to 25GB. ISP fees apply. Xbox Live account required.

    State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition may be downloaded to your Xbox One console by selecting “My Games and Apps”, then selecting “Ready to Install”. Included content will automatically be added to Ready to Install, without the need of a download code.
