How to file legal claim against Microsoft/Xbox, for taking the money but no games

My son bought games on Xbox through my paypal account, I didn't know about that so filed a claim through paypal. Paypal said those are valid charges and didn't refund the money, paypal sent the money to Microsoft and provided me with confirmations/support.
Xbox/Microsoft claim they "do not see" the money and do not release the games. Although a couple of Microsoft reps confirmed that they see the money received but nothing they can do... Now I got charged about $260 and have no games for it. Microsoft just keeps
the money. Customer reps keep dropping the call and acting very unprofessional. What do I do at this point?

How about actually fixing the problem Microsoft? Are we really supposed to believe that the biggest software company in the world is apparently having difficulties in fixing this issue? All we seem to get is occasional vague responses about how you're "investigating"
or "working to fix the problem", but it's been more than FOUR MONTHS now! That really does not instill much confidence in Microsoft at all! Until this issue gets resolved Microsoft will get no more of my money!

I understand, but there is no where for me to file a claim. There is no button saying, “review case again”!

they wouldn't drop the call unless you were cursing or being unreasonableunreasonable like yelling or.insulting and yes they can get fired for doing soso otherwise if you were then they were justified they aren't there to take abuse but to help you

Are you sure they were game purchases not micro transactions? It is entirely possible those are micro transactions for ingame items

If they were a bunch of purchases like 29 bucks or 50 etc then you might want to check the games you played

Every conscious parent should know that allowing a child to use a an adult account brings such issues. In the future assign a minor's account to your child in order to avoid such issues.

You dont. The police would have to request said information from Microsoft's legal department with a subpoena. That is even if the police are willing to do so. Even if they did track down the console the police wouldnt give it back to you right away as it
would be used as evidence in court. That could take a year or more.

You will be better off filing an insurance claim with your homeowners/renters insurance and using the money from the claim to purchase a new console. You will be back to gaming much quicker that way.

SOUNDS EXACTLY LIKE MY CASE. 2 WEEKS IN and he still is on my account. Also filed a BBB claim with no reply. Never realized how petty microsoft is until you need their help. they'll take your money with no problem tho.

Name and shame of other gamers is against the forum rules.

If you want to take legal action against other gamers, that is on you.

You have no grounds for legal proceedings against Microsoft, as they have already given you the tools to report and block messages.
