How to factory reset a Xbox one x without being able to see the screen

So my three-year-old Xbox one X HDMI port isnt working and I was told to factory reset it but I can see the screen and I have tried the hold down the power and eject button method and that hasn't worked but I don't think I have tried the factory reset method but I can see the screen

BTW I have tried using different HDMI cords and putting them into different ports on the TV and I tried using different TVs

also my warranty has expired by 2 years

I was almost going to try this, would have been a bit of a bird box challenge I reckon. lol. Luckily I was able to stream my Xbox to my laptop. Thanks though

Hi, start the XBOX One X in support mode and take a look at Youtube to see the steps you have to take with the controller, are about 4 pieces

Thanks for the tip, I didn't think it would work because I thought I'd have to go into the settings to enable game streaming first, but turns out I didn't. I was able to do the reset but have no actual way of checking that it actually worked because the
moment I hit the reset it booted me out of streaming and now I can't to get back in. I'm assuming that the fact that it won't let me stream is because the reset worked (makes sense to me). Thanks again
