How to extend xbox one controller range ?

Hii my xbox one is in my living room and i want to play with him in other room.

I search a lot on the internet and havnt find a solution to this verry popular problem.

Mybe you can help me and tell me how do i can extend the range by some ir blaster or anything else.

I think the bast solution is to adjust the windows reciver to the xbox one.

Can wireless adapter be used with the Xbox One to increase controller range?

I've got my Xbox One in another room to my TV and as the Xbox One Controller uses direct wifi to connect its range is severely limited, so I'm right on the limit of the range and my controller disconnects itself one average every 2 - 3 minutes. If I were
to use the wireless adapter on the Xbox one with a USB extender, would that allow me to extend the Xbox Controller range?

I have had my xbox one replaced due to constant disconnects. The replacement is better when playing alone but as soon as there is a second player/controller it disconnects every 30secs to a minute. My console is in an closet about 10m from the TV and I
sit in between the two. Never had these problems with my 360 or PS3. I think I may return it and go PS4 as this is a joke.

MS needs to wake up and address the problem rather than pretending it's not there. Surely it can't be difficult to make a USB connected range extender or something?

 

There are no actual methods of extending the wireless range of the controller. The hardware is built-in and remains constant.

You can, however, improve the range by removing all physical obstructions, minimizing wireless interference from other devices, and ensuring that the controller is in direct line-of-sight to the console.

 

So why microsoft dont solve it, the internet full with people who has the same problem and dont know how fix it.

Actually its very simple, adjust the pc wireless reciever to the xbox and you have a wonderful range extender whenever you want.

I can already plug a bluetooth dongle into my PC and windows 10 will find the controller as a bluetooth device, which i can then use to stream the xbox to a PC. But my network is poor, the video quality is low and there is too much latency.

So why on earth cant Microsoft install a patch on the xbox to allow a bluetooth dongle plugged into the USB port of the xbox to do the same? At least then i can use a USB extender cable with a bluetooth dongle to get my controller range extended to where
i need it. Its running the same OS as the PC under the hood is'n't it!!!

This is a BIG problem Microsoft, and i will be buying playstation next time if this isn't addressed.

 

i use the xb1 controller on pc also with the attachment to plug into my pc. i have problems even with this as well and i have nothing really in the way, maybe a piece of wood (my desk) when i have my hands under it, thats it. now i just have a usb extension
and that seems to work.

 

You want to play your xbox from very long distance then buy a 100ft cable !!

 

There is not really a way to extend the range on the controllers, i would just try to make sure you are in sight of xbox for full effect
