    I've been looking all over and it seems there is no way to enter the codes short of being nonlinear with the game at the main menus

    Depending on the version that you purchased, you may redeem your code using these links.

    If you have 25 characters on your code, use this link below.

    http://redeem.microsoft.com/

    In addition, check for typos to make sure you entered all information accurately and as it appears on your gift card. Typos are the most common reason for code errors, and the following characters aren’t accepted: A, E, I, O, U, L, S, 0, 1, and 5.

    Try again in an hour or two to rule out a temporary server outage.

    If the card says that it's not activated, return it to the store that you purchased it from and ask their customer service to activate the card.

    Sorry, but Shift codes can only be entered via the console.
