How to enable Suspend Resume for games?

where do I go to enable the suspend and resume function like the PS4 has for the Xbox one? I cant find it anywhere. thanks! Can get real irritating to load the same game over and over after turning th console off every time.

Hey there. Is your console set to Instant On (Settings, Power, Turn off or restart, Turn off after...)? This feature works fine for me most of the time. It will only work for the last game you were playing. Sometimes if you open a bunch of apps or do something
that takes up a lot of memory, it will also force close the game.

I've actually contacted MS Support for this, which they had no response to. They believe that it may be related to the huge update they released.

Go into your settings menu->power and start-up-> make sure it is set to instant on mode. This is Xbox One's standby mode when you turn it off, it should be able to start up within 15 seconds and load straight back into your game

*Note- Sometimes this function doesn't work properly and will make you restart your game to play it. Or it will not load the game, in which case you will need to power cycle your console!

 

Suspend Resume hasnt worked for weeks since NXOE for me and im in instant on mode. How do I Fix. Ive powered down etc
