How to enable 4k resolution???

Needing 4k support here too. I had an hdmi switch to toggle between the pc and cable box. Just got a 4k tv recently and the resolution of pc is downgraded to 1080 as it doesn't support 4k pass through. Nvidia card has a max of 1080 with the pass through
and 4k when comnected directly to the tv. The upscaling of fonts look terrible this way using the xbox pass through.

I hope this is something that can be easily enabled soon.

I just bought a 4k tv and have to agree... I would LOVE to have the interface in 4k. For one thing the 1080p version is blown up and looks understandably ugly. Also my screen real estate would be better put to use. Would love to see 4k support soon.

The Xbox one does not exactly have 4K capabilities. The most it *might* be able to do is stream 4K video. The games are all playing at a low resolution and framerate and it struggles with it, so 4k video streaming is if-y even.

It would be nice to have the XB1 interface in 4k.. with a 4k TV, as there is so little content.. every little helps.

that has to be done by way of an update. and since no games are playing in 4k yet.... what's the point?

I dont recall any 4K support at all, other than a 4K rated HDMI cable for long term pass through support.
