    Hi everyone, I had a xbox 360 and I sold it to buy a xbox one console. I forgot to eliminate my xbox live account on the xbox 360 and I would like to know how to remove it on the xbox 360.

    I just got an xbox 360 and made an xbox live account. I did not realize that an xbox live account was the same as a windows live account. Is there a way to merge these two accounts? I want my gamertag to be the name on my windows live account. is there
    a way to eliminate my xbox live account and use my windows live account instead so I can have my name there? I would also have to transfer the one 3 month subscription over. I would also be willing to eliminate my windows live account so i could have my gamertag

    Yes! Your scenario above is exactly what they hope for, but it would all be using Xbox 360 consoles (I'm not sure if that makes a difference). Each console does have a separate copy of the game.

    I think each person does have an Xbox live account. I'm really unclear how Xbox live works even though I know I'm paying for it for my Son. Is the Xbox Live account attached to a specific account or is it attached to a specific console?

    Oh! My apologies I read that as the Xbox app in Windows 10, but I now see this is the Xbox 360 we're troubleshooting here. Have you tried removing your Xbox Live profile from your Xbox 360 console and signing back in? Check
