How to eject an external hard drive in xbox?

Hello!

With the External Hard drive first close any Game/App that is using the external HDD.

Then unplug From the console (try to not move the external Hard Drive before the unplug)

The best way would be to fully power down your console by holding the power button on the console for then unplugging the power cord for 2-3 minutes.

Then unplug your external hard drive and power back up.

Have you formatted the hard drive? If not, have a look here for instructions on how to do this on the console.

Also, imagine how much more expensive the console would be. The Xbox branded external 2TB hard drive is overpriced as it is. It's cheaper to just get another external hard drive.

The internal hard drive on the new Xbox series x is totally blank there is nothing on the internal hard drive zero zip so all my games are on the external hard drive told the machine to update to the external hard drive it will not update to the external hard drive do I have a defective machine I just bought it does it need to be returned can you help or not and if you can how to!?
