HOW TO EDIT/REMOVE LOCATION ON XBOX ACCOUNT?

hi guys! ive been considering getting a new xbox soon. so, i downloaded the xbox app to take a look at my account that i’ve had since like 2015. i was wondering how i could edit or remove the location from my account? and is the location visible to others? if so how could i hide it? i want to hide it for privacy reasons and i haven’t figured out how to and was wondering if there was any way to do this online since i don’t currently have the xbox yet, or do i have to wait until i get the actual xbox to change it on there? because none of my friends profiles have locations on them when i go to look at theirs. (also if anyone knows how to edit/remove followers from the mobile app or online that would be great too)

And sadly it is not possible to manage the followers on the Xbox app. You can manage your followers on the Xbox app for PC or on Xbox.

Which region are you located in, and is your Xbox One console set to that region in the system settings? If that matches up, let's start by

removing and downloading your Xbox Live profile on your Xbox One console to see if that helps.

Kindly confirm if your purchase was successful by signing your account on account.microsoft.com > go to Payment and billing > Order history.

If the GTA 5 great white shark edition transaction is there on your account, you will need to perform some basic troubleshooting steps to fix the issue. Please remove your Microsoft account from your console > restart your console > re-add your Microsoft account > then check to see if it works here's how to remove your account:

1. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

2.Select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.

3. Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm.

> Then restart your console and proceed with re-adding your account. You've got nothing to worry as this will not delete your saved data progress.

Then try to see if you will be able to install the game on your console.

However, If the GTA 5 great white shark edition transaction is not on your account, you can check your other Microsoft accounts to locate the transaction under Order History.

just to be sure, does the country region specified on the console match the country region specified on your account and matches your actual location?

If so then you could also try removing your profile, restarting the console and adding your profile again. Keep in mind that you will need the account credentials to add the profile again. For the steps on how to add or remove profiles see this link:
