How To Download Smaller Game Sizes On Xbox Series X

It's supposed to be that way....most of the extra for the Series X is 18GB taken up by HD Texture Pack which, from what I understand, is 4k related graphics (which the Series S doesn't have..think it upscales 1440p if I remember correctly?).

Prior to the release of the new consoles, there was confirmation that Series S file sizes would be smaller:

but i know that different version will be available for series S with a smaller data size. I m looking for these versions instead of series X versions.

This was Xbox One? It's not 3-4GB, the game is in excess of 40GB and that's just the standard edition. It takes a while to download anything of that size.

Other games are around that size, others are much smaller, so download times will vary accordingly.

Apart from the games maybe being longer to take to download due to larger file sizes of them, no there is no different broadband requirements for the Xbox Series X|S

Any external drive wouldnt work

One it needs to be the same speed as xbox x series

A dvd usb drive wont read bluray disks

And at the expense of a bluray reader plus the additional hardware you might as well buy an x series

Why would you buy something you dont need if you need to read disks

There is huge difference between x and s

And S ISNT DESIGNED FOR DISKS

And the software would refuse it

3 the s series downloads have lower file sizes since its less capable

And yes the servera detect this

So you dont need 4k files

You do realize you only have a 512gig ssd in the s series right? And thr cpu and gpu arent the same aa the x series because of the limited hardware in the s seriea the downloads are smaller

If you want disks buy the right product
