How to download Sea Of Thieves to PC with game pass?

Hello,

I just activated game pass for 1 month. I want to play Sea Of Thieves but in the store I cant download it because there is no button for that. Do I need xbox live gold membership to play SOT with game pass?

Double Game Pass Order!

Hi there,

I just enlisted for the 14 days Game Pass Trial. I wanted to try Sea of Thieves on PC.

But instead of finding a download link for the game anywhere, the website still showed me "buy Game Pass".

Which I did, and now I ended up with a free Trial until 4th april AND second order 1 month Game Pass from TODAY on.

That clearly is a mistake, so I need help with:

1. Where can I download Sea of Thieves now?

2. How do I get the second order of the monthly Game Pass canceled?

Hi there. With an active Xbox Game Pass subscription, to take advantage of Xbox Play Anywhere titles, you will need to have installed the Windows 10 Anniversary Edition update on your PC, as well as the latest update on your Xbox
One console. Then, simply log into your Xbox Live/Microsoft account and your Xbox Play Anywhere games will be available to download. On your Xbox One, games will show as “Ready to Install” under “My Games and Apps”. On your Windows 10 PC, games will appear
in “My Library.”

As I understand you are not getting the game pass pc, I also have some problems to download some games, not with Sea of Thieves, but with some gives the same error.

Thank you for contacting the Xbox Support forums. Before I try to assist, I do have a few questions.

1) Are you playing Sea of Thieves on PC or Xbox?
2) When you previously played Sea of Thieves, was that also through Game Pass? Or was it purchased elsewhere?

3) When you originally played Sea of Thieves, was it through the same Gamertag that is now an active Game Pass subscriber?

Sea of thieves requires gold and game pass, unless you purchase sea of thieves, then you only need gold.

For Sea of Thieves, are you trying to download it through the Xbox App or Microsoft Store app? If you've tried one but not the other, try the other and see if it'll work there.

EA Play will be added to Game Pass for PC on December 15.
