How to disable universal remote control?

I have 2 Xbox one's next to each other in my room, I want to use my universal remote on one for movies, without turning on the other. Without moving them can I disable universal control somehow.

Thats how most universal remotes are Dynamic. But the Harmony remotes are so easy to use and customizable, you really wont need another remote.

Hi there.

No there is not a direct way to un-sync the controller from the xbox as it uses the IR sensor. The only option you have is to perhaps put a piece of black tape of the sensor to stop it receiving from the remote. The sensor is located just to the right of
the eject button.

the ir blaster is very nice. a decent universal remote with ir blasters are nearly $100. im not sure how much they run for voice controlled.

please re-read this question/thread. it is not the controller. it is a universal IR remote control.

I believe it may only be infrared in controlling the xbox 360. but the controller is a universal remote. and it has a Media Centre button which has been on computers way before the xbox 360 was even created.

There is just no other explanation for why I can control my HP Vista Home Premium Laptop Computer. My HP Laptop came with its own little remote. That sticks into the side of the laptop. My laptop has a IR sensor on the front but I disabled it. Now the Remote
that came with the Laptop doesn't work but the 360 Remote still does.
