    How to Disable Non-Autthenticated Account Deletion


    Hello XBox Ones!

    When no one is signed in to the Xbox, it appears that anyone can delete an account.

    Just head over to "Remove an Account", and they are gone.

    But I don't want this. I only want an Adult account, in the family to be able to delete

    accounts.

    How do I disable account deletion when no one is signed in?

    Hello Excalipoor!

    If you can verify your account through Xbox Support (800) 469-9269, then they can provide you with your WLID. Once you obtain this you can use xbox.com/forgot to gain access to your password or whatever is necessary. If you cannot verify your account you
    will need to create a new one.

    I want to delete this account, because it's been hacked into one too many times. It seems like no matter how many times or how obscure my password is, someone eventually gets into it. How do I go about deleting it?

    You can try disabling UAC and then deleting the folder. To do this, open the Control Panel, click on “User Accounts”, click on “Change User Account Control settings”, move the slider to the bottom to disable UAC, and then click on “OK”.     If you have a child account you can't disable passkey.

    If your account is an adult account, you can disable the passkey entering it wrongly 3 times or more in a row. After that the system is going to ask for your password

    Or, you can go to Settings > Account > Sign-in, security & passkey > Delete passkey and then you should be able to delete it.
